LG had today launched its other triband GSM Slider style cellular phone, the LG KF240 Mobile Phone which features a 2.0 inch 256K colors color display, 2.0 MP digital camera, MP3 player, FM Radio with recording facility, memory expansion card slot and option for Hindi language in SMS and system menu.
The new LG KF240 mobile phone is a triband GSM 900 / GSM 1800 / GSM 1900 MHz handset which featrues 2.0inch, 262,144 colorings, 176 x 220 picture elements resolution display in slide-up style design.
Only 16 millimeters thick clamshell LG KF240 phone is equipped with 176-MB of internal shared memory with microSD Memory Card Slot for expanded memory with level best of 2-GB storage space. The handset allows upto 1000 entries phonebook, 500 SMS ans 100 mmS memory along with 40 dialed, 40 received, 40 missed calls recrords.
The contact book allows Name, Mobile, Home, Company name, Email address, Office number, Fax number, Birthday, Associate Picture, and Associate Video per contact.Digital Camera
The multimedia LG KF240 phone also features powerful 2.0 Megapixels resolution digital camera with uttermost of 1600 x 1200 pixels resolution leaving 4X Digital Zoom, Multi Shot (1,3,6,9), Brightness Adjustment, White Balance, and built-in flash. Sadly camera does not offer autofocus support. Other still image captured resolution include 320X240, 640X480, 1024 x 768, and 1600 x 1200 peles.
The multi shot function of LG KF240 mobile phone allows upto 9 shot, 6 shot, 3 shot, or 1 shot. Predefined Scene modes include Auto, Daylight, Cloudy, illuminated / indoors, Portrait, Landscape, Night, Beach, Sports, and Party etc and digital camera offers many picture effects such as Black & White, Negative, and Sepia.

The new LG KF240 slider mobilephone also sports integrated FM radio which offers live or scheduled recording which can be saved and also used as ringtones. Supplement it also allows FM alarm feature which changes to preset FM station on schedule. The FM radio can also be played on Speakerphone.
Anti-theft Mobile Tracker
The LG KF240 mobile handset also sports a unique Anti-theft Mobile Tracker which can help trace the handset if stolen. In case handset gets stolen and the SIM is removed after having activated a new SIM card in the same handset, the two alternate mobile numbers a user had entered while setting up the anti-theft feature would automatically receive the SMS informing about the new SIM number and the location of the theft. This info can be used for filing your police complain.
The LG KF240 comes with some application programs including Agenda, Alarm Clock, Calculator, Clock, To-do-list, and Voice Memo.
Other features include USB charging, video playback, video caller ID, inbuilt speaker and In-flight mode which allows user to use the phone as MP3 media player and as a mass storage device to store files and data.
